Curculio bassos is the catalog of the first monographic exhibition on the artist Mark Manders. Through texts by Maaike Lauwaert and the curator of the exhibition and art critic Javier Hontoria, this book proposes an immersion in the creative universe of the Dutch artist and leads readers from his studio in Ronse, Belgium, to the galleries of the Centro Galego de Arte Contemporánea. Thanks to the work of this center in Santiago de Compostela, during the summer and autumn of 2014 the Galician public was able to enjoy a complex work, which had already been represented in major events of the art world, such as Documenta 11 in Kassel (2002) or the 55th Venice Biennale (2013).
